Our Premium Thermal Insulating Wool-Rich Rug Underlay delivers outstanding benefits. It is sumptuous to walk on, providing performance enhancing, load spreading support that keeps rugs looking good for longer. It provides superb heat and sound insulation.

It is ideally suited for use on cold floors such as ceramic or stone tiles but especially recommended for use together with the RugBuddy under-rug heater. Without suitable thermal insulation, the heat generated by your RugBuddy will soak into the floor and the RugBuddy will not warm up properly.

It is made from 100% recycled/upcycled 80/20 wool carpets and so contains around 80% wool.

This underlay provides superior insulation against cold. It also adds extra cushioning for a cosy and comfortable feel.

Please note that sizes 180x274cm, 240x274cm and 360x274cm are supplied in 2 pieces. Simply place them next to each other. If you find that they move apart in use, use carpet tape to stick them together.

For your safety: Please note that this underlay is primarily intended for insulating cold floors and does not offer anti-slip properties. If you find that the rug slips excessively in use, we recommend that you add a layer of one of our anti-slip underlays below the thermal underlay. We especially recommend our All-Surface Fleece underlay which offers excellent value.

Not suitable for direct use on LVT floors such as Karndean and Amtico - to prevent discolouration of your floor, please ensure that you place a barrier between this underlay and the floor. We especially recommend our All-Surface Fleece underlay which offers excellent value and will ensure that you rug does not slip or creep.

Not suitable for floors with underfloor heating.
